So this is what I’ve become?  So starved for love and meaning that I carry water for anyone who will have me?”  A heartfelt cry of a hurting woman.  A woman, I would dare say, who was inundated with lies -and believed them; A woman who was overwhelmed with life and its responsibilities; A woman who had lost hope; A woman who felt isolated and alone; A woman not so different from today’s woman. Can you relate to her?  Have you been there?  I have.  For this woman, an ordinary day began with a painful reminder of who she had become but ended with an extraordinary encounter with the only One who would bring true love and meaning to her life by offering her Living Water.  That day was a day she would never forget and one that would change her life forever. Do you long for encounters with God like that?  Are you thirsting for more of Him?  Do you suspect there’s more to following Jesus than what you’ve experienced?  There have been so many times in my life when my soul has cried out  like the Psalmist, “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.  My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.  When can I go and meet with God?” ( Psalm 42:1-2).   The time is now.  SWO Women’s Ministry hears the heart of today’s woman and invites you to join us November 13 on an interactive faith walk, a journey to the only One that can satisfy your thirsty soul.
